I wanna salute Producer/Songwriter/Clothing Designer/Entrepreneur Pharrell Williams. He’s such a creative, passionate cat! I’ve been a huge fan for years. He’s 1 half of the crazy Production team The Neptunes … At this point it’s about who they HAVEN’T worked with! (Shout outs to Chad Hugo, I believe he’s the glue that keeps all things musical together). They also make up the Rock/HipHop Band N.E.R.D. along with long time friend Shay. But I really connect to Sk8board P cause he’s so brave in the studio. Never afraid to try anything different as long as he thinks it’s hot (Grindin’). Intelligent when he writes (Run To The Sun). Forward thinking (BBC Clothing /Ice Cream). And the belief in all his ideas good or bad. So… Thanks for the motivation my dude. STAAAAR Trak Riderzzzz!

From the duo’s 4th album Homebase, it also reached number one on the Rap Single chart and number four on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached eight on the UK Singles Chart, as well as number forty-one on the dance chart.
It samples Kool & the Gang’s “Summer Madness”.
The song earned the duo’s second Grammy after “Parents Just Don’t Understand” in 1988.
