The BoomBox: Was there ever a moment when it became surreal for you in terms of the mammoth size of the crowds during shows?
Drake: There were some defining crowd moments in my career. That first night of the I Am Music tour was just overwhelming. There were 13,000 people in the audience and I had never done anything like that in my life. The other moment was the Hot 97 show in New York. I didn’t know what was going on. I just knew Jeezy had hit me up and was like, ‘Man, I want you to come out.’ I saw Jeezy backstage and then I saw Jay-Z. And Jay was like, ‘I come out right after you.’ Cont’ reading…

Overceer Management
The Timbo track is NUTS but overshadows Jigga too much…Sounds like he’s trying to catch up to the joint. He’s trying to be witty like old Jigga on tuff beats (i.e.”N***A What, N***A Who”)…I was actually getting used to him on these soul sample tracks again…lol! Drake was/is the highlight on this track. He would’ve DEFINITELY stole the show if given a verse.

Timbo joint is crazy! I like how Drake rocked the Hook, straight robot styLe.. hot! I had a feelin’ Hov wouldn’t give Drake a verse, just in case Drake out shined him.
Let’s get back to that beat tho… yikes!

Jay Z track was bannanas! alil too good for wat J put into it. I think
hes gettin old now.lol I know ppl were sayin that for alil while now,
but i thought it was missing something. an i like j too but i almost
was waiting more to hear if drizzy was comin up next an that aint a
good look for hov.
Speaking of drake he woulda killed it i know it.
