Andy Samberg is so clever!
Brilliant writer with a very dry, blunt sense of humour ,Mr. Paul Mooney is a true a comedic genius. His social commentary is raw, funny but always the truth. Specializing in the topics no one wants to comment on. Paul’s writing talents span 40 years of American Pop culture. Richard Pryor’s head writer from the 70’s, In Living Color’s Season 1 head writer all the way to a contributing writer on The Chappelle Show. This man is FUNNY, period! His resume speaks for itself! (Check it out below the vids)
One of my favorite Paul Mooney bits!
Classic line: “You aint gettin this jewelery, not all this prayin’ I din done.”

Meet Jack Black & Kyle Gass aka Tenacious D. This gem is called “MASTER EXPLODER!”
Tenacious D formed in 1994 when the members performed as an acoustic duo. The band first gained popularity in 1999 when they starred in their eponymous TV series and began to support large rock acts. In 2001, they released Tenacious D, their debut album featuring a full band. The first single, “Tribute”, was the band’s most successful achieving their only Top 10 in any chart, until they released “The Metal”, which was first shown at Saturday Night Live. Learn more about Tenacious D here!

Yes, I’m sure you’re all familiar with Andy Samberg & Justin Timberlake’s Hilarious “Dick In A Box” . Well that was just an introduction to his group The Lonely Island (made up of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone). The album entitled Incredibad is a comedy filled, 80’s Hip Hop/Pop inspired, Euro-synthy, nerdy, “super white kids from the ‘burbs”, making fun of there obvious shortcomings. Samberg is very talented on screen but also in studio. His melodies & lyrics combined with heavy 80’s/90’s sounds work perfect! Guest apperances include; T-Pain, E-40, Justin Timberlake, Norah Jones and Jack Black. Thought I’d share a few joints with y’all. Enjoy!
Sax Man Feat. Jack Black

Bonus vid not on Album:
Cult Classic: HOT ROD

An accident-prone, self-proclaimed stuntman eager to earn the money needed for his abusive stepfather’s life-saving heart operation hatches a plan to jump 15 busses in a comedy scripted by the Lonely Island team (Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer) in collaboration with Pam Brady, and starring Samberg and Ian McShane.
Looking forward to seeing these!

*Untitled Michael Moore Project – October 2, 2009*
Michael Moore’s new documentary will be release by Overture Films on October 2, 2009. The as-yet-untitled film will explore the root causes of the global economic meltdown and take a comical look at the corporate and political shenanigans that culminated in what Moore described as “the biggest robbery in the history of this country” – the massive transfer of U.S. taxpayer money to private financial institutions. Moore has made three of the top six highest-grossing documentaries of all time including Cannes Palme d’Or winner Fahrenheit 9/11, 2008 Academy Award® nominee Sicko, and Bowling for Columbine, the Academy Award® winner for Best Documentary in 2003. His debut film was 1989’s groundbreaking Roger and Me.
