Good read…. The Japanese are actually too ahead of their time when it comes to technology! Read on y’all.
TOKYO — At first glance, Japanese cellphones are a gadget lover’s dream: ready for Internet and e-mail, they double as credit cards, boarding passes and even body-fat calculators.
But it is hard to find anyone in Chicago or London using a Japanese phone like a Panasonic, a Sharp or an NEC. Despite years of dabbling in overseas markets, Japan’s handset makers have little presence beyond the country’s shores.
“Japan is years ahead in any innovation. But it hasn’t been able to get business out of it,” said Gerhard Fasol, president of the Tokyo-based IT consulting firm, Eurotechnology Japan.
The Japanese have a name for their problem: Galápagos syndrome….. read more here

It seems to me that the real problem is the mind itself, and not the problem which the mind has created and tries to solve. If the mind is petty, small, narrow, limited, however great and complex the problem may be, the mind approaches that problem in terms of its own pettiness.

A had the oppty to read Total Freedom 2 years ago. It was overwhelming for me. Most of the time the book acted as a mirror, seeing all and eventually exposing every bit of me. However it has helped me understand more of myself and my surroundings. Yet it is a never ending process of growth, self-awareness, love. Read up on him if you like. >> Mr. J. I’ve learned so much from Michael Jackson vocally over the years and wanted to thank him through his music.
So here’s my rendition of “Butterflies”, one of my favorite Michael records. Enjoy!

*Untitled Michael Moore Project – October 2, 2009*
Michael Moore’s new documentary will be release by Overture Films on October 2, 2009. The as-yet-untitled film will explore the root causes of the global economic meltdown and take a comical look at the corporate and political shenanigans that culminated in what Moore described as “the biggest robbery in the history of this country” – the massive transfer of U.S. taxpayer money to private financial institutions. Moore has made three of the top six highest-grossing documentaries of all time including Cannes Palme d’Or winner Fahrenheit 9/11, 2008 Academy Award® nominee Sicko, and Bowling for Columbine, the Academy Award® winner for Best Documentary in 2003. His debut film was 1989’s groundbreaking Roger and Me.
